Ratzon is a queer, Jewish, anarchist community based in Pittsburgh. All who value collective liberation are welcome.

We organize anti-zionist Kabbalat Shabbats, holiday gatherings, reading groups, public ritual as resistance, and more.

We also send out a monthly newsletter with upcoming programs and resources.

Ratzon is ours and yours—if you'd like to get involved or start a project with us, please connect with us!

  • Delve into topics that uplift healing and resistance. Learners of all backgrounds are invited to explore topics like Jewish practice, queer thought, and social movements. Join us at our ongoing programs and for special events to share your knowledge and learn from the Ratzon community.

  • Together, we practice building a supportive and meaningful community because we know our strength comes from our interdependence. Participants are encouraged to join our volunteer Member Council to support and innovate Ratzon. Members take part in mutual aid and action within and outside of our community to provide for our collective material and social needs.

  • Ratzon is a space to connect to Jewish practice with Shabbat services, prayer, and holiday celebrations. We welcome the complexity of who you are and the diversity of what each person brings to a spiritual space.
